A bone tumor can be either benign or malignant. Benign tumors are usually not life-threatening and, in most cases, will not spread to other parts of the body.

Bone tumor – Differential diagnosis and Systematic approach
ABC = Aneurysmal bone cyst
CMF = Chondromyxoid fibroma
EG = Eosinophilic Granuloma
GCT = Giant cell tumour
FD = Fibrous dysplasia
HPT = Hyperparathyroidism with Brown tumor
NOF = Non Ossifying Fibroma
SBC = Simple Bone Cyst
